The Ridgeway’s journey
Our iconic Tudor-style clubhouse is steeped in history, having evolved through many eras – from a private resort to its proud role as the heart of our golf community today. Once owned by legendary rocker Ian Gillan of Deep Purple, the building even featured a one-of-a-kind, guitar-shaped swimming pool – a playful nod to its musical past and one of the many stories woven into its walls.
Today, after a sensitive renovation that preserves its heritage while elevating its comfort, the former Springs golf clubhouse is home to the Ridgeway Restaurant. Named after the nearby Ridgeway Trail, this beautifully designed space invites guests to savour delicious, freshly crafted dishes and unwind with a drink from our fully stocked bar. Throughout the restaurant, subtle golf-inspired touches – from golf-ball-style lighting to vintage course photography – celebrate the sport’s legacy while creating an atmosphere full of character.
